Romeo
17-year-old Arabian Gelding
Romeo became part of HCH after a successful performance career. He is a former endurance and competitive trail champion and has started learning horseback archery. He enjoys trail riding and being a school master in our programs. He is kind, forgiving, and affectionate. He needs encouragement from time to time, can be energetic and has his opinions, but is responsive and willing. He loves to teach connection and liberty and enjoys helping workshop participants feel calm and confident.

Esta
5-year-old Mustang Mare
Esta is relatively new to HCH, though she has already been an enjoyable and willing equine partner in several workshops. She is relatively green (meaning inexperienced) and has been under saddle a few times. She is light on the halter and lead and loves affection and grooming. Esta is sensitive to energy and alert, but very willing. She seeks human connection. Esta is best at teaching about trust and how to be soft with your energy, light and regulated in your requests, and sensitive to the present moment. She appreciates when humans help her feel grounded, safe, and calm.

Luna
3-year-old Norwegian Fjord Mare
Luna is still quite a baby and unschooled, but she is learning. She loves attention and would crawl in your pocket (or eat it) if you let her. She is a great teacher about the need for boundaries and clear communication. She is opinionated and really cute! She will steal your heart, relish your attention, and invite you to be consistent and assertive.
